While this is one of Mira’s entry-level showers, it surprisingly includes their Clearscale technology, which is designed to lower the build-up of limescale by up to 50%, making the Vie last a whole lot longer than other showers on the market.

As well as Clearscale, The Mira Vie comes with super-simple power and temperature controls. Just select your chosen temperature setting and you won’t have to configure it again. You are also covered with a two-year warranty for peace of mind.

Temperature Controls

On the Vie, the temperature is customisable using the dial underneath the flow mode selection dial and above the power button, which you can “set and forget”. All you then have to do is power on the shower with the button and that’s it.

Some things to consider with this model is that, as this is one of their cheapest showers, it does not come with things like; phased shutdown, maximum temperature factory setting, or Mira’s Sensi-flo (designed to prevent scalding), which does not come as a surprise as it is an extremely low-cost shower.

Power Consumption

With regard to power consumption, the Vie range comes in three, kilowatt ratings: 8.5kW, 9.5kW, and 10.8kW. All three of them are ranked A in terms of energy efficiency, making the Mira Vie very economical to use. Verdict: Should You Buy The Mira Vie?

The Mira Vie has several great reasons why this should be your next replacement. Its incredibly cheap, flexible installation means you can either retrofit older Mira electric showers or cover existing holes from other brand showers, features Mira Clearescale, and comes with a two-year warranty.

The area where it misses the mark is the temperature controls. As mentioned earlier, there is no max temperature setting, phased shutdown or any “anti-scald” system of any kind. This is fairly common and expected with cheaper models. Ultimately, you get what you pay for.

With that said, for the price and the number of features it has, you really can’t go wrong with this shower.

The Mira Jump is a great replacement shower for any home, so much so that it made both our best electric shower and best Mira electric shower round ups! With multiple cable and water entry points, together with flexible fittings, installing this shower is super simple.

In having separate temperature controls and a quick push-button activation, you can design the perfect shower and rinse and repeat (excuse the pun) with just the push of a button. Also, Mira’s Clearscale reduces limescale by up to 50%, and the hose and shower heads also have rub-clean nozzles, meaning you can easily keep this shower cleaner and therefore it will last a long time.

In my Mira Jump review, I’m going to be exploring this electric shower’s most interesting features in greater detail and helping you to decide whether this is the right shower for you. Let’s get into it.

Temperature Controls

On the Mira Jump, the temperature is configured via a dial, which you can essentially set once and forget. All you then have to do is turn the shower on using the push-activated power button underneath it, and you are good to go! Temperature is maintained via pressure stabilisation, ensuring that you can shower without worrying about any drastic temperature changes. One thing to keep in mind is that, as this is a cheaper model, it does not come with things like phased shutdown, a maximum temperature factory setting, etc, so do keep this in mind when purchasing. 

Power Consumption

With regard to power consumption, the Jump comes in several, kilowatt ratings: 8.5kW, 9.5kW, and 10.8kW. All three of them are ranked A, in terms of energy efficiency, making the Mira Jump very economical to run. Verdict: Should You Buy The Mira Jump?

The Mira Jump is a great entry-level electric shower. It has simple and separate controls, allows for left or right-hand pipe/cable connections and comes complete with a two-year warranty.

Where it doesn’t come up to scratch is with the temperature settings. As discussed earlier, there is no max temperature setting, phased shutdown or anti-scald system of any kind. These are the features you would like in a shower, especially if you have a family. With that said, you do get what you pay for and if you go for a less expensive model it does, come with fewer features.

One of my personal favourite features of the Mira Jump is the multi-fit aspect. You can easily hide previous holes from your existing shower with the adjustable bar, making the installation much tidier. For a little extra, Mira also does this model with two shower heads (an overhead deluge), called the Mira Jump Dual, so you should definitely check that out.

Verdict: Should You Buy The Mira Dual?

The Mira Jump Dual is a great entry-level electric shower. It has simple and separate controls, allows for left or right-hand pipe/cable connections and comes complete with a two-year warranty.

One of my personal favourite features of the Mira Jump Dual is the multi-fit aspect, as well as the dual shower heads. Having the choice of either shower head every day is a nice thing to have indeed. If you’d like to save some money and don’t mind having one less shower head, you can opt for the Mira Jump, so you should definitely check that out. It even made both our best electric shower and best Mira electric shower lists!

My only gripes with this shower are that it has limited temperature safety settings and the fact that you cannot use both shower heads at once, which is something usually possible with the more expensive models. With that said, this is just my personal preference.

Looking for a super affordable shower with great temperature controls? The Mira Minimal has you covered. The Mira Minimal EV  is a great replacement shower as it is not only inexpensive, but also because it has so many great features.

Now, this is a thermostatic mixer shower and so works differently than other regular electric showers, in that it regulates temperature a lot better. While this is one of Mira’s cheapest showers, it surprisingly includes several of their famed technologies; Clearscale, Magni-Flo and CoolShield, which we will get into later. 

As well as all these features, the Mira Minimal comes with the Mira Beat shower head, which is one of Mira’s top shower heads. You are also covered with a massive 5-year warranty, so you can buy without worry knowing if you have any issues, you will be supported.

Temperature Controls

On the Minimal, there are lots of temperature safety controls. First of all, the temperature of your shower is configurable using the sleek single control dial. Because it is a thermostatic shower, a stable water temperature is maintained, meaning much safer showering than typical showers. 

Furthermore, the Minimal has an automatic shutdown, which is completed within 2 seconds, ensuring that the next user does not get scalded by any leftover hot water. Also, this shower also has an adjustable maximum temperature setting, which is great because you can select whichever temperature you want and can even change it between the seasons.

Although not quite a temperature control but worth mentioning nonetheless, the CoolShield technology stops heat transferring to any exposed surfaces of the Minimal, making it completely safe to touch without getting burnt.

Shower Head

This shower comes with the Mira Beat, which is a 110mm, 4-spray shower head. The spray patterns include; Rain, Rain+, Burst and Storm so you can design your perfect shower experience. Plus, all nozzles are rub-clean, making this shower head very easy to clean and maintain against limescale.

While not directly related to the shower head, this shower features Magni-Flo technology, which delivers up to three times more flow than other mixer showers, even at a low pressure! Which together with this shower head will provide a powerful shower.

Verdict: Should You Buy The Mira Minimal?

The Mira Minimal is the perfect shower for those looking for a moderately-priced alternative that looks great and is packed with features. It’s incredibly cheap, suitable for all plumbing systems, has lots of temperature safety features, and even comes with a massive 5-year warranty.

For me, although I love the Mira Minimal’s unique look, having just a single control mechanism means that every time you shower you have to select the temperature. Now, this isn’t a total deal-breaker in my eyes but I’m lazy! I like having the ability to turn on my shower and get to showering rather than having to select the temperature.

With that said, for the price, all the features it has and the massive warranty, you really can’t go wrong with this shower at all.

Spray Patterns and Performance

The Mira Switch has four great shower spray patterns to choose from: Saturate, Soak, Stimulate and Soothe. These are easily selected using the button on the shower handset, which is quite an interesting design as typically with other shower heads you’d twist the shower face itself to change the pattern. Interestingly enough the “Soothe” spray pattern is the reason this shower head became dermatologically accredited for sensitive skin by the Skin Health Alliance.

Design

This shower head has a massive 130mm spray face, which ensures much greater coverage. The spray face itself is made of silicone which reduces the build-up of bacteria while also looking sleek and modern. It is also rub-clean, and so are the nozzles, making cleaning the Mira Switch shower head extremely easy.

Also, as well as the typical chrome colour, this shower head is actually available in white too, ensuring you can match whatever decor you have in your bathroom or shower. The connection point itself is universal, meaning it will connect to most shower hoses on the market (Standard 1/2″ BSP connection).

The design of this shower even won the Red Dot Award in 2016 for “best in class for Product Design” and was placed in the Red Dot Design Museum, based in Essen, Germany.

Verdict: Should You Buy The Mira Switch?

The Mira Switch is a top shower head and definitely one you should consider if you are looking for a replacement – for your digital or mixer shower, of course! I personally love the push-button mechanism for changing shower patterns as it is not a very common design and adds to its appeal. Plus having a massive 130mm spray face means you are getting such a large coverage from just a handheld shower head, which is great.

I think the only downside to this shower head is that it is only compatible with Digital and mixer showers, which means not everyone can use the Mira Switch, unfortunately.

With that said, for the price, the colour options, the features and the fact it has won awards, as well as received dermatological accreditation, picking the Mira Switch is a no-brainer.

Summary

The Mira 360 is a shower head is one of the best shower heads out there and certainly, one of the best Mira shower heads too. With its unique flip-stream technology, and 4 spray patterns, it is designed to help you create the perfect shower experience. Unlike most shower heads, in order to select one of these spray patterns, you simply have to flip the spray face and away you go.

The 360 comes in two colours – White/Chrome and Black/Chrome. Both have really nice, cool blue nozzles which, in my opinion, look amazing with the black Mira 360 design. Cleaning the Mira 360 is easy, thanks to its rub-clean face and nozzles. Naturally, this shower head is universally compatible with any shower hose. With that said, this model is designed specifically for digital or mixer showers.

Without any further ado, let’s get into our full review of the Mira 360.

Spray Patterns and Performance

The Mira 360 has four spray patterns to choose from; Rain, Burst, Cloud, and Storm. Just like the Mira Switch, this shower head has a unique method of selecting spray patterns – enter Mira Flipstream technology. In order to select one of these 4 spray patterns, you simply flip the shower face and it activates the new pattern. This is another interesting design by Mira as typically with other shower heads you’d rotate the shower face itself in order to select a new pattern.

Design

This shower head has a decently-sized 100mm spray face, which provides a good amount of coverage. The spray plate is rub-clean, and so are the nozzles, making cleaning the Mira 360 shower head extremely easy.

Also, as well as the typical chrome/black colour, this shower head is actually available in white too, ensuring you can match whatever decor you have in your bathroom or shower. The connection point itself is universal, meaning it will connect to most shower hoses on the market (Standard 1/2″ BSP connection).

One thing to keep in mind is that the Mira 360 is heavier than most shower heads and therefore will need to have a fairly strong clamp bracket (this is what holds your shower head every day). Mira has stated that their Mira 360 Fittings Kit or the Mira Logic Fittings Kit will work fine with this shower head.

Verdict: Should You Buy The Mira 360?

The Mira 360 is a top shower head and definitely one you should consider if you are looking for a replacement – for your digital or mixer shower, of course! I think the flipping mechanism for selecting shower patterns is great as it is one, not a very common design and two adds to its appeal. Plus having a decently sized 110mm spray face means you are getting good coverage from just a handheld shower head.

With that said, for its aesthetic, having the four spray patterns, rub clean nozzles, picking the Mira 360 makes perfect sense.

The only downside to this shower head in my opinion is that it is just compatible with digital and mixer showers, which means not everyone can opt for the Mira 360, unfortunately, which is a shame. Also, as it is heavier, you will require a sturdy clamp bracket which means spending a bit more money – though it most certainly will be worth doing so.

How do you clean a Mira 360 shower head?

Cleaning the Mira 360 shower head is simple. It is important that you clean the Mira 360 fairly often, especially the spray plate, to make sure that the shower head does not become blocked. Mira advises that many household cleaners contain abrasives and chemical substances, and therefore should not be used for cleaning the plated or plastic fittings. Instead, these finishes should be cleaned using a mild washing-up detergent or soap solution, and then wiped dry using a soft cloth. You can use your thumb or the soft cloth to wipe any limescale away from the soft nozzles, as well as the front surface of the spray plate.

There’s no better feeling than stepping into a nice hot shower in the morning to get you ready for the day. One thing I love about electric showers is that they heat up quickly, they’re usually simpler to install, and as they are powered by electricity, are usually more energy-efficient as well.
